History: The Black Sea Valley
It now seems pretty beyond question that Atlantis and the Flood of Gilgamesh and Noah all were a fact of history. Plato says that wisdom and learning came from there, and that once it went down the world slowly began to regain some of the greatness that had been in Atlantis. It also seems more and more unquestionable that the Black Sea is the Urheimat, the original home, of the Indo-European race.
All this depends on what the Black Sea Valley was actually like before the Flood. And nobody, least of all historians and archeologists, has any incentive to find out what it was like. Like the blond mummies in China, it is big news and a big embarrassment that they try hard to ignore.
